Juan is one half of the Tampa Visuals team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a sharp eye to every shoot. With 11 years of experience in photography and videography, his craft was forged during his time as a photojournalist and videographer in the United States Navy — an environment that demanded precision, adaptability, and the ability to capture powerful moments under pressure. That military background didn't just sharpen his technical skills; it gave him a unique perspective on storytelling through a lens, allowing him to find the compelling image in any situation.
A true lover of the art form, Juan enjoys all types of photography but has developed a deep specialization in video recording and editing, bringing a cinematic quality to every project he touches. Whether he's behind a camera capturing still moments or crafting a seamlessly edited video story, he approaches each job with the same level of dedication and passion he carried throughout his Navy career. Clients can always count on him to deliver polished, professional results that go beyond the expected.
Off the clock — and honestly, sometimes on it — Juan is known just as much for his personality as his work. Best friends with his Tampa Visuals partner Justin since high school, the two share a bond that brings a natural, easy energy to every shoot. Don't be surprised if you catch Juan cracking jokes or messing with Justin in between shots; that chemistry is all part of the experience, and it has a way of putting everyone around them at ease in front of the camera.

Justin is the other half of the Tampa Visuals team, and the creative spark that keeps Tampa Visuals constantly pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. With 9 years of experience in photography and 6 years in videography, he has spent nearly a decade refining his craft and developing a style that is entirely his own. His journey has been driven by a genuine passion for the art — one that goes beyond simply taking great photos and videos, but rather creating entire worlds within a single frame.
If there's one thing that sets Justin apart, it's his love for creative shoots and his seemingly endless imagination. His concepts range from hauntingly beautiful spooky witch editorials to breathtaking, ethereal goddess-themed environmental portraits, proving that no idea is too bold or too out-of-the-box for him to bring to life. He has a rare gift for translating abstract, artistic visions into striking visuals that leave a lasting impression, making him the go-to collaborator for clients who want something truly unique and memorable.
When he's not behind the camera crafting his next inspired concept, Justin is easy to spot on set. Just look for the guy staring at some bushes or plants figuring out how to use it as your backdrop.. His easygoing nature and quick humor make every shoot a genuinely fun experience, and his natural chemistry with his longtime best friend and partner Juan keeps the energy light and the laughs flowing. Together, they've built Tampa Visuals into a team that doesn't just document moments. They create them.
We’re just not business partners
Our story started back in high school, and like some of the strongest friendships, it actually began a little rocky. But by freshman year of college you could find us almost every single day hanging out on the porch, talking about life and trying to figure out our next steps. Fast forward ten years, and honestly, not much has changed. When we aren’t behind the camera for Tampa Visuals, we’re still hanging out—usually relaxing after a packed wedding day, or with one of us still trying to teach the other how to play soccer (a ten-year effort that still hasn't stuck). We’re best friends first, and that decade of history is the backbone of everything we do.
